The absence of an elevator makes hauling luggage to higher floors a hassle, and if you get a room with a street view, be prepared for noise from traffic and cafes that can carry on into the night. the bathrooms suffer from poor ventilation, leading to a humid atmosphere that doesn't help after a shower. the furnishings and decor could use a refresh to shake off the dull, run-down aesthetic.

really enjoyed my stay at the apollo hotel, super friendly staff that made me feel welcome right off the bat. my single room was a good size, had all the amenities i needed like a fridge and coffee machine. plus, it's close to the center and the river, so perfect for exploring. brekkie was decent, nothing too fancy but adequate. the coffee machine in the lobby is a nice touch that made mornings better!
